Example of why we need universal healthcare. A man got a job and part of his offered pay package was a robust Premera BlueCross health insurance plan. Covered all his family’s providers, meds, etc. 6 mos later they changed to a Cigna plan. Many of their providers were lost, and they lost coverage for meds and services. It was a massive pay package decrease, all just to save them money, and his only options were to suck it up or find a new job after only 6 mos. Employer-based insurance is a scam.
