I’m a proud Mexican immigrant who is now a U.S. citizen after becoming a cancer doctor. What I’ve heard from this administration over the last few months, including the president’s recent racist remarks about Somali immigrants and immigrants from so-called “third world” countries, makes me sick. How long before you all say something? This racist rhetoric is unacceptable. and remaining silent is not an option for you as a representative of a nation of immigrants.
