Gabbard's evasiveness on whether she would follow illegal orders from the president to withhold funds from the Inspector General is unacceptable for someone seeking such a critical national security role. Her apparent flip-flop on the essential FISA 702 surveillance program without a clear explanation also calls her judgment into question. For these reasons, I urge you to vote against Gabbard's nomination to protect American interests and uphold our democratic values. Her candidacy represents a direct threat that could undermine national security.
