I’m disturbed by the attacks on gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton, a survivor of child sexual abuse, as well as the recent attacks on Representative Ilhan Omar’s legitimacy as a U. S. Citizen.. That both of these women are candidates running in midterm races is not a coincidence. Members of Congress should uplift women based on qualifications and life experiences and not based on skin color, ethnicity, religion or misguided survivor allegations. I’m asking you to publicly condemn these attacks, support survivors of abuse, and to push the Justice Department for accountability on the Epstein files. Thank you for your time and consideration.
