Please see my email of 9 October 2025 – I’m WAITING on an answer from that question. To current issue --- sending live fire rounds across civilian areas in CA has proved to be dangerous and has injured law enforcement. Did you need to prove it was dangerous by injuring a highway patrol officer? Good grief – Congress should be holding a hearing ASAP to determine WHY the military was allowed to perform this stunt. I EXPECT AN ANSWER. FYI – since you have no military experience, let me inform you that CA has HUGE swaths of military land, including 640,000 acres at Ft. Irwin and 1,200,000 acres at China Lake. LIVE fire exercises are performed at both. I was stationed at the NTC for over 3 years; I have first-hand experience. The actions taken by the Marines indicates that upper-level Commanders need some corrective action. Marines regularly train at the NTC, deploying from MCAGCC at Twenty-nine Palms, CA. I EXPECT a reply without delay. I expect a statement – I expect you calling for a hearing – I expect you to demand the military stop such stupid moves. The Marine Corps birthday is in November – this action was NOT celebrating the milestone. Lastly, a comment on the President’s sharing of a video depicting him flying a jet which emits shit on Americans. There really are no words needed as we all know an action so egregious is beneath the dignity of any elected official. It speaks to an unseriousness and likely is a extremely diminished mental capacity of one who can no longer control impulses and immature outbursts. Not funny, scary really because it appears others put dangerous choices in front of him and he laps up whichever one seems ‘fun’ (?) at that moment. I’m sad for your party – the serious, steadfast nature of the Republicans has devolved into an unprofessional world of lies, actions, words, meme’s, and videos that, when questioned, are called jokes or the questioner is attacked and there is no response. This spectacle is no laughing matter and your actions, or lack thereof, do not require my judgement, but history will not be kind to this dark time and your failures to speak up and defend the Constitution, and to actually perform your Article 1 duties. You are demonstrating failure at this moment. You the staffer reading this will be judged as well. Where is your red line? What will you tell your children and can you live with yourself knowing in your gut this is wrong?
