It is your job to stop the weaponization of the Department of Justice. This DOJ has not worked to secure justice for Americans, but rather has sought to use their authority to protect Donald Trump. Trump tries to say that Biden weaponized his DOJ, but that is just projection, something Donald Trump is very good at. The DOJ has dropped charges against Eric Adams because of a deal Adams struck with the administration regarding immigration. They dropped charges against Donald Trump’s co-defendant in the classified documents case. Bondi fired the head of the Department of Ethics, three January 6 prosecutors, and 20 DOJ employees who assisted Jack Smith in his investigation. This DOJ has also opened investigations into Trump’s rivals, including James Comey and John Brennan. Bondi fired a whistleblower who provided information about direction given to DOJ employees that they should defy court orders if needed. This attorney general seems to believe that she is Donald Trump‘s personal attorney. The corruption is disgusting, and it is your job to hold DOJ accountable, unless you are okay with this administration setting precedents that future Democratic presidents will follow. Power changes hands quickly in this country. Do the right thing.
