The military parade this weekend is despicable. It is not a celebration of a military victory, the end of war and a return to peace. It is not an effective recruitment tool. An effective recruitment tool is ensuring those who serve have educational opportunities, proper health care, sufficient housing, and ongoing respect and care for their lifetimes of sacrifice and service. You know Trump's parade is an homage to Russia and North Korea. You know he is aping the ways of the despot he wants to be. You know it makes no sense to spend over $90 million on a pointless parade when you are constantly going on about waste, abuse, and fraud in the federal spending. What is this parade but waste, abuse, and fraud? You need to distance yourself from this President and his actions and policies. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
