Please vote NO on the SAVE America Act. Every major study of voting outcomes and irregularities has concluded that voter fraud is practically non-existent. The SAVE Act will make voting disproportionately harder for women and those at or below the median income level to vote, and impose an unconstitutional poll tax in the form of requiring expensive- and hard-to-obtain identification (passports, birth certificates). I myself, a white married man, would likely have issues voting, as the names on my passport and birth certificate do not match, as my wife and I took each other's names. On top of this, Trump's insistence that the act also eliminate voting by mail is a huge disservice to the many busy Americans who may not have access or time to vote — those in nursing homes, those with mobility issues, and those working multiple jobs so they can make ends meet. This act does nothing to "save" voting, but an awful lot to suppress voting. Please VOTE NO on the SAVE America Act.
