I demand that we ensure that people in ICE custody get immediate and appropriate medical treatment. I am reading about Wilber Garcés Perez, who was shot by ICE and then left with no pain medication and left to sleep on the floor. Appalling! We are supposed to be better than this--FAR better. Please immediately rein in abuses by ICE and please uphold basic decency and basic standards for anyone held in detention. The fact that someone is profiting off of this abhorrent treatment and that we taxpayers, who do not want this, are PAYING for it is beyond outrageous.
