I'm writing to express my outrage over Secretary Hegseth’s proposal to publicly broadcast the execution of Nidal Hasan. I urge you to oppose this act of barbarism by the Department of Defense. Public execution and circulated footage of executions is meant to intimidate the public and demonstrate political power. This openly authoritarian tactic has no place in the United States. Thank you for your time and consideration.
