I'm writing this letter to express opposition to the construction and operation of the immigration detention center in the Everglades. I strongly oppose "Alligator Alcatraz". The potential impacts of this facility on both human rights and the Everglades ecosystem are going to be devastating. There's been no proper environmenta l review as required by federal law.
