Move forward with impeachment proceedings against President Trump. The evidence is not ambiguous. He has violated the Constitution, defied judicial rulings, abused prosecutorial powers to target political opponents, issued executive orders targeting First Amendment freedoms, and engaged in corrupt self-dealing on a scale this country has never seen. The Constitution's standard — "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors" — was written precisely for this. If his conduct doesn't meet that bar, nothing ever will. I know conviction requires two-thirds of the Senate and that the votes may not be there today. That's not a reason to stay silent — it's a reason to act now and build the record. As George Mason argued at the Constitutional Convention, "Shall any man be above Justice?" The answer has to be no. Do your job. Start the proceedings.
