Don’t Rig Our Vote The redistricting process should serve the people of Florida, not politicians or political parties. The President of the United States has called for redrawing congressional districts nationwide to benefit his party in the next election. This may be legal in other states, but not in Florida. Article III, Section 20 of the Florida Constitution lays out the standards for establishing congressional district boundaries and states that “no apportionment plan or individual district shall be drawn with the intent to favor or disfavor a political party or an incumbent.”
State leaders should focus their time and our taxpayer dollars on creating a more affordable, brighter future for all Floridians.
