Reject Musk's unelected access to federal payment systems

To: Sen. Husted, Rep. Joyce, Sen. Moreno

From: A verified voter in Mentor, OH

February 5

Elon Musk's unelected and private status, coupled with his business ties to foreign nations like China, raise grave ethical concerns over his DOGE task force gaining access to sensitive federal payment systems and personal data of millions of Americans. Allowing an unelected billionaire with potential conflicts of interest this level of control over programs like Social Security and Medicare is a violation of public trust and a subversion of democratic processes. DOGE's capabilities to disrupt payments, improperly access private information, or unilaterally slash benefits based on political agendas is an unacceptable seizure of power without any public accountability. Musk must be immediately stripped of all access to government systems and resources, a full investigation into any improper data handling must occur, and robust safeguards implemented to prevent corporate interests from exploiting these vital public functions and citizen data in the future. I am a registered voter and homeowner.
