New world map and collapse of global oil supply? CONGRESS MUST ACT NOW!

I am writing because the recent comments by Pete Hegseth about Donald Trump supposedly drawing a map of a so called “Greater North America” are outrageous and dangerous. The United States does not get to redraw the world map or absorb sovereign nations like pieces on a game board. This kind of rhetoric is reckless, destabilizing, and beneath a country that claims to respect international law. Congress is supposed to be a check on extremism and executive overreach, yet far too many members are silent while this nonsense spreads. Let me be blunt. The enablers need to go too. Anyone in Congress who refuses to push back on this kind of talk is part of the problem. If elected officials will not defend our Constitution, basic democratic norms and the sovereignty of other nations, voters will replace them with people who will. We are also running out of time to deal with real global challenges. Instead of entertaining fantasies about territorial expansion, Congress should be urgently focused on preparing for serious global risks, including instability that could follow a collapse in the global oil supply. The last thing the world needs is U.S. leaders flirting with imperial rhetoric while ignoring real crises. Speak out. Do your jobs. Shut this down before it goes any further.
