Dear Sir, Democratic Senators Schumer and Wyden have introduced legislation called the “Stop Presidential Embezzlement Act” that would prevent President Trump from continuing to enrich himself by using his position as president to sue the government while blatantly milking US coffers as if they were his own private cash cow. The Stop Presidential Embezzlement Act would impose a 100% tax on any settlement a president, vice president, cabinet member, or member of Congress receives from the government as a result of a lawsuit filed while in office. I expect you to support this legislation fully, forcefully and unequivocally. It is outrageous that my taxpayer dollars are being spent in this shameful and reckless manner, while vital funding for programs that actually benefit most ordinary Americans are being slashed. Trump's abusive and disgraceful conduct is consistent with his history as a lifelong cheat and conman, and Congress needs to grow a spine immediately and shut this down disgusting trajectory.
