Bring H.R. 2550, the Protect America’s Workforce Act, to the Senate Floor

To: Sen. Schmitt, Sen. Hawley

From: A verified voter in Kansas City, MO

July 23

I am writing to urge you to immediately bring H.R. 2550, the Protect America’s Workforce Act, to the Senate floor and vote YES. This legislation has already passed the House. The Senate now has a responsibility to do its job. Federal employees and the American people deserve to know where their elected officials stand on protecting the workforce that keeps our government functioning. Over the past several months, I have watched with increasing frustration as attacks on federal employees and federal agencies have continued. Many Americans feel that political loyalty has been placed above the interests of the people you were elected to represent. It is time to prove otherwise. Bring this bill to the floor. Hold the vote. Show your constituents that you care more about protecting American workers than appeasing a political movement that many Americans believe threatens our democratic institutions. You have an opportunity to demonstrate that you work for the people—not for any one individual or political figure. If you truly care about your constituents, support this legislation and vote YES. Voters are paying attention. We remember who stands up for working Americans and who stays silent. Your actions on H.R. 2550 will speak far louder than campaign promises ever could. Do your job. Bring H.R. 2550 to the Senate floor. Vote yes. Show us that you are willing to represent your constituents instead of political interests.
