This shutdown isn’t about real budget issues—it’s about the president choosing tantrums over leadership. A shutdown is never ideal, but surrendering to lies and threats is worse. If Congress gives in now, it sets a dangerous precedent: that bullying and misinformation can dictate national policy. This is the moment to stand strong. Refuse to fund Trump’s agenda unless healthcare and public health are protected. Let him own the shutdown he’s creating. Show the country that Congress won’t be bullied—and that truth, courage, and constitutional authority still matter. We the people stand with you!
