The legal limit an individual can donate to a candidate in an election is $3,300. However, in 2024, Elon Musk donated $277 million to Donald Trump by utilizing loopholes that allow the wealthy to disproportionately influence or outright buy elections. If you are committed to election integrity, I urge you to support overturning Citizens United to ensure our elections are not treated as auctions. Please prioritize these reforms over supporting voter suppression bills that further empower the wealthy and disenfranchise millions of voters.
