With 5.2 million people making their voices heard, peacefully and lawfully, it has become further clear that it's time to stand up and do your job, which is to listen to your constituents. Even those of us within the Republican Party are disgusted with what we are seeing coming from the executive branch. Our demands are simple. Do the job you were elected to do, and LISTEN to what the people are saying. 1) Remove Musk from any form of government influence. (Bonus points if you find a way to deport him). 2) Protect our veterans. Our civilian soldiers who serve or served deserve to be treated with respect and dignity for doing the things that the president dodged doing. Veteran services are imperative. 3) Protect Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. These should not be exclusive from one another despite being very different programs. 4) Protect the education of our children. Already too many are lacking basic skills because they can't afford the support items that make early schooling a priority. 5) Protect the rights of our LQBTQ+ and black and brown communities. Diversity is not a dirty word. You don't want to be forced into a single kind of cereal, do you? Every single person is just that. A worthy person, until they do something unlawful. It is past time to do your job, and we will not stop speaking out until you do.
