I am appalled and shocked that highly placed government officials were ignorant enough to discuss secret military plans on an unsecured app. Before you start screaming it was not secret let me copy part of what was said: The Hegseth text continues: “1215et: F-18s LAUNCH (1st strike package)” “1345: ‘Trigger Based’ F-18 1st Strike Window Starts (Target Terrorist is @ his Known Location so SHOULD BE ON TIME – also, Strike Drones Launch (MQ-9s)” There is no way this was meant to be public and no way it should have been made public. The people that did this - Hegseth, Waltz, Gabbard, Vance, Rubio and others- should have known better than to discuss war plans- these were definitely war plans- on an insecure app. Every one of these morons should be fired. I realize you Republican “leaders” will pretend that it was no big deal, but I’m also certain if democrats had done this you would have tried to hang them. Do your job! Protect our country instead of bumbling politicians and fire those on the chat!
