Rep Golden, will you comment on the monstrosities committed by ICE in Maine today? Are you aware of the high school student Jean Pierre Obier? An 18-year-old immigrant in Maine is here legally, and was taken by ICE unlawfully on Tuesday. He graduated high school early, has no criminal record, and was on his way to class at USM when he was taken. He is here legally. His parents were refugees. HE has legal status and no criminal record and he has not been allowed to contact a lawyer...... What about the arrest made in Cumberland county where the arrested person's car was left running windows open, in the street, posing a danger to all. Will you comment on the illegal and abusive tactics used by ICE. Are you and your staff aware of these things? Will you be condemning the brutal and illegal tactics of ICE? Silence is compliance. Do you want to be an enabler of the cruel and illegal suppression of due process. Please reply to let me know what you will be doing about this.
