I am disappointed and disgusted that you voted to "condemn socialism." You work for the people, funded by the people, and receive government funded healthcare for life. Despite that, you engage in this performative measure that wastes precious time and money. We are in a national crisis, fighting rising autocracy and fascism. Your job is to oppose that with everything you have. Instead, you pull this stunt, right after Mamdani and Wilson get elected? What exactly did that accomplish? The Democratic party is a big tent. You should be working with the progressive flank to better the lives of the American people. Instead, you are joining the ranks of those who are happily gutting the Department of Education, stripping away women's healthcare, calling anything that isnt white, straight, cis, and male "DEI," and terrorizing our neighbors with ICE. I hope whatever you got for that vote was worth it. You have gotten your last vote from me. I prefer my politicians to have integrity.
