We need to speak out and end occupation of Palestine and specifically Gaza now!! It is horrific groundhog day in Gaza! ER Dr. Ali Tahrawi speaks about how dire the situation is “It's very busy at the hospital. Do you know why? The occupation started shooting randomly everywhere, and many people were crossing the street, some on carts. I can't believe we still have to live through days like this. It was one of the worst days. I was caring for a cancer patient with chronic lung disease. short of breath, coughing, when someone called for help. Then they came in: a young man and a child, both shot, one in the arm, the other in the leg. A young girl with a gunshot wound to her pelvis. Another man on the ground, shot in the shoulder. A child in the ICU, shot in the chest. Blood everywhere. Meanwhile, the patients I was already responsit 4/5 for were waiting for follow-up, their families asking what to do next. Pain, everywhere. In every inch of the body. Even in my fingers as I write this. Stress in its deepest form. Trauma in its rawest state. One boy with a pelvic shot, bleeding heavily from his anus. Exhaustion. It felt worse than a war, like a war on top of a war. Not even a war, but a machine of killing, where a life can end in a second. Where a person can be everything, and at the same time treated as nothing. It's a constant fight, against death, destruction, and occupation.” This is not ok, demand immediate removal of Israeli occupation and end to any US support they have provided to Israel. US support needs to go directly to Gaza and Palestinians and rebuilding Gaza!
