I am writing to urgently request a thorough and transparent investigation into the treatment and welfare of children in the custody of ICE. Recent public accounts and testimony have raised serious concerns about the conditions these children face and whether proper safeguards are in place to ensure their safety and well-being. As a citizen, I am deeply troubled by the possibility that children in government custody could be mistreated, neglected, or placed in unsafe environments. The public deserves clarity and accountability. These children must be protected, and their care should reflect the highest moral and legal standards of our nation. I strongly urge your office to investigate this matter without delay and to ensure that all findings are made public. This issue is not political—it is humanitarian.
