I am writing to express serious concern about the recent Associated Press report describing the deportation of individuals to South Sudan who are not from that country. These actions violate court orders and basic human rights.
Sending people to countries that are not their country of origin without due process is not immigration enforcement. It is kidnapping. It is human trafficking. It is illegal.
Every person on U.S. soil is entitled to due process under the law. No agency or individual should have the power to ignore court orders or remove people by force. The individuals responsible for carrying out these deportations, including government officials, pilots, and security personnel, must be held accountable.
This is not a partisan issue. It is about the rule of law, human dignity, and our obligation to uphold justice. I urge you to demand a full investigation and immediate action to stop these violations.
Thank you for your service and attention to this matter.
