These alerts are essential for communities to prepare for and respond to dangerous weather events, from hurricanes to tornadoes. Any attempt to undermine NOAA’s mission or limit its ability to operate effectively puts millions of Americans at risk. I ask that you demand DOGE cease its attacks on NOAA and ensure that the agency remains fully funded and empowered to continue its vital work. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Protecting NOAA is not just about preserving a government agency—it’s about protecting the safety and well-being of every American.
