I write to you as a concerned constituent to express strong opposition to further U.S. military action against Venezuela. Recent events—where the United States has carried out strikes inside Venezuela and announced the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife—represent a dramatic escalation with grave implications for regional peace and U.S. global standing. Due to your complacency with no enforcement of congressional powers this is what we have escalated too. Demand action! No war with Venezuela!
