I've seen in the news that Trump and his people are drafting an executive order claiming China interfered in our elections and plans to use it to take control of how the midterms are run. A security report card has already shown that while China considered interfering, it ultimately decided against it. I'm urging you to do everything in your power to stop this overreach of power. Elections are to be run by the states. Federal interference is not going to look good for Republicans, and may even inspire more backlash from voters. Rulers who try to interfere with elections don't wind up on the right side of history. I hope you'll protect our rights and discourage this potential executive order and any future ones that attempt to take control of the election process.
