The recent proposal to have government employees sign non disclosure agreements is too broad in language and would discourage federal employees from reporting government wrongdoing. Federal employees are already bound by numerous restrictions on how they handle sensitive information. Having a broad NDA creates confusion and will dampen government accountability.
