Condemn Trump's Remarks Inviting Attacks on Los Angeles and San Diego

You need to publicly condemn President Trump's remarks at his Nebraska rally, where he told supporters to "let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego." Thirteen million Americans live in those two counties. A sitting president casually inviting a foreign adversary to destroy American cities is not a gaffe — it is a betrayal of the most basic constitutional duty to protect the country.
This war was already costing us. Gas is $4.37 a gallon nationally, diesel is $6.32, and 23 U.S. soldiers are dead. Trump rejected Iran's peace proposal at the U.N. last month, talks have stalled, and the conflict is escalating. Now he's calling the potential destruction of two of America's largest cities "a very small price to pay." Mayor Karen Bass called the remarks irresponsible and warned they could compromise Los Angeles's safety. Mayor Todd Gloria said his city is "not collateral damage." They're right.
The midterms are weeks away. Your constituents in California are watching to see who stands up for them. Say clearly and on the record that no American city is expendable, and that these remarks are disqualifying.
