I am writing to express my firm opposition to the reckless and cruel Republican budget recently introduced. This so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” is nothing more than a handout to the wealthy and powerful, paid for by gutting programs that working families rely on—like SNAP, Medicaid, public education, and housing. It slashes essential services while expanding funding for deportation forces and corporate tax breaks, showing us exactly where their priorities lie—and it’s not with everyday Americans. We refuse to let this budget strip dignity and opportunity from our communities while billionaires hoard more wealth. We need a budget that invests in people, not one that deepens inequality and suffering. I urge all decent representatives to reject this brutal agenda and fight for a fair economy that works for everyone, not just the elite few.
