March 7, 2025

I am writing as a concerned constituent from [Your City, State] to express my strong opposition to the actions and policies of former President Trump. His recent decisions not only threaten our democracy but also undermine the values and stability of our nation. I am particularly alarmed by: • His attacks on democracy, including the dismissal of federal inspectors general and efforts to undermine constitutional rights like birthright citizenship. These actions threaten the checks and balances essential to our government. • His abandonment of Ukraine, which emboldens authoritarian regimes and weakens global security. The United States must continue to support Ukraine against Russian aggression, both militarily and financially. • His wrongful termination of federal workers, who were dismissed based on political loyalty rather than merit. These public servants deserve fairness and protections from politically motivated purges. • His pardoning of individuals involved in the January 6 insurrection, which undermines the rule of law and dishonors those who defended our Capitol. I urge you to take decisive action to counter these threats by: • Passing legislation that reinforces democratic norms and prevents future abuses of power. • Maintaining strong U.S. support for Ukraine, ensuring they have the aid needed to defend their sovereignty. • Protecting federal workers from politically motivated firings and restoring those unfairly removed. Thank you for your time and attention. I trust you will stand firm in defense of democracy and represent the interests of all your constituents.
