Call to remove compromised NYC mayor from office
To: Gov. Hochul
From: A verified voter in New York, NY
February 14, 2025
The mayor's alleged actions in seeking to dismiss federal corruption charges against him in exchange for cooperating with the administration's immigration policies are deeply concerning and compromise his ability to serve the interests of all New Yorkers. By prioritizing his own legal troubles over the well-being of the city, Adams has violated the public trust. Given the severity of these revelations, it is imperative that you exercise your authority as governor to remove him from office. New York City deserves leadership that is transparent, ethical, and focused solely on uplifting its residents rather than pursuing quid pro quo arrangements that undermine the rule of law. The citizens of this great city cannot be governed by an individual so clearly compromised by personal legal jeopardy. Terminating Adams's mayoral tenure is a necessary step to restore faith in our civic institutions and ensure the people's interests truly come first.
