This government shutdown is on you. It is Congress’s job to negotiate and pass a real budget — not to play games with continuing resolutions and blame the other party.
You’ve had nearly 11 months to write and pass your own budget, yet all we’ve seen are recycled CRs that keep the government running on autopilot. That’s not leadership. That’s failure.
Why are you refusing to do the work? Why are you renewing the same temporary budgets over and over instead of presenting your own plan? Every day you delay, families lose income, services shut down, and communities suffer — all because Congress refuses to govern.
You were elected to lead, not to stall and not recycle others work. Stop pointing fingers. Get in a room, negotiate, and deliver a budget that protects workers, families, and essential programs.
Do your job — that’s what taxpayers pay you for. If you can’t do that - RESIGN!
