Release the Epstein files:
Disclosure, independent oversight, & accountability
To: Sen. Young, Sen. Banks, Rep. Messmer
From: A constituent in Mount Vernon, IN
July 10
The Justice Department's findings regarding the Epstein case raise important questions about transparency and accountability. While the review did not find evidence of a "client list" or blackmail, there is a lack of clarity around what information is being withheld and why.
The American people deserve full transparency on this matter. I urge you to call for the release of all relevant, non-sensitive information from the Epstein investigation.
The public has a right to know the full scope of this case and the individuals involved, within legal constraints. Additionally, thorough scrutiny of the handling of this case by officials like Attorney General Bondi and FBI Director Patel is warranted given their significantly changing narratives.
For a man who so often spent time with Epstein, Trump is vocally and suspiciously eager to drop the subject. Also very concerning… it is being reported that author Michael Wolff shared that Trump was very concerned during his first term about what Epstein’s associate, Maxwell, who is currently serving a jail sentence related directly to the Epstein crimes, would say. Trump considered pardoning Maxwell- she recruited young girls and women for Epstein.
You, along with everyone else in Congress, the DOJ, and the FBI should ensure maximum disclosure, independent oversight, and accountability on this matter occurs now.
