Air traffic nightmares

I'm just writing to see if there are any checks and balances left in our government. I tried to fly through Chicago yesterday, but our president decided to bring Air Force One into the busiest airport in the world. That of course delayed hundreds of flights and many of us had to spend the night and try again today. Air travel in this country is already a train wreck without a narcissistic president tying up everything. I just wish we had a Congress who reigned in this president. He shouldn't be shutting down major airports so that he can go to a golf tournament. Everything just feels broken in this country. And it feels as if our Congress is AWOL.
