I am your constituent and I want to remind you that our country can no longer afford to go in the direction we are headed. Our national debt is over $40 trillion and 25% of that was added just recently as cut taxes on corporations and the wealthy. We spend over $5 trillion a year on healthcare we are projected to have 40 million without health insurance in January. That will drive up costs for all of us since the uninsured delay care and then it becomes really expensive.
A new Yale University study found that our country can save $2 trillion every year with a public insurance trust suing private providers And over 215,000 lives would be saved every year.
I want you to turn our healthcare problem into a win for all Americans and super and enact the Medicare For All (of us) Act, HR 3069. We all deserve to be able to go to the doctor without going broke. That includes the U.S. treasury.
