Removing historical signage does not remove history. Smart people should WANT to know the full story of our history, not some WHITE washed Pollyanna drivel. Washington had slaves. We all know it. Their lives mattered too. If they were forced to serve George and Martha in that house, we should know about THEIR lives too. There was one thing in your Facebook comment that I do agree with. Good riddance this fall.
