I am writing to express my strong opposition to any effort by Donald Trump, or any U.S. official, to pursue the acquisition or takeover of Greenland. Greenland is not ours to claim—it is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, a democratic ally, and its people have the right to determine their own future. Attempts to treat sovereign territory as a real estate transaction undermine international law, damage our alliances, and make the United States look reckless and imperialistic. I urge you to publicly oppose any such actions and to reaffirm America’s commitment to diplomacy, self-determination, and respect for our allies. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
