Subject: a National Tesla-Modeled, Federally Funded Networked Database System which aligns and Protects Homeland Security by Establishing a Transparent Data Model for Autonomous Systems and robotic intelligence systems and services. To: Department of Homeland Security - Office of Policy Members of the United States Congress House Committee on Homeland Security Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation Dear Homeland Security and Members of Congress, I am writing as a constituent from Prosperity, South Carolina, regarding the rapid rise of autonomous vehicles, aviation systems, drones, and all forms of robotics. As these systems become common in daily life throughout our communities and the world, I am demanding action. Without a shared, transparent, federally overseen data model, there is no clear way to ensure that no one is programming ill intent into self-driving cars, drones, and other autonomous devices and robots that act and move with self-driving and self-doing capabilities. I am requesting that Congress consider legislation to establish: A single National Data Model Center, modeled upon the system Tesla uses, but developed as a FEDERAL government-funded project. A mandatory networking database system that all manufacturers of autonomous systems must connect to. Homeland Security and federal tech oversight with one transparent central hub to monitor safety, detect anomalies, verify that systems are not being used to cause harm, and ensure accountability against threats. A clear 20-year contract of federal control to ensure locked-in transparency and trust. This system must be transparent enough for public accountability meaning So people like you and me would be able to verify that: 1. All companies ARE actually plugged into the one system 2. There's a real log / record showing safety checks happened 3. No one company can hide what their robots/cars are programmed to do But Homeland Security would still keep the sensitive security stuff locked. while protecting all necessary security protocols. Establishing this now, before these technologies are fully deployed worldwide, would help prevent misuse and build public trust. Thank you for your support, time and action on this important issue concerning our futures national security measures. Please and thank you. Sincerely,
