Protect our public land! No to Mike Lee’s Amendment!

As your constituent, I do not support Mike Lee’s last minute amendment to the Wildfire Prevention Act. Protect our public lands! The 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule is a U.S. Forest Service policy established by the Clinton administration to protect roughly 58 million acres of undeveloped national forests. It prohibits most commercial logging and road construction within designated "Inventoried Roadless Areas" (IRAs). The rule underwent significant regulatory actions, including a full rescission by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
