I understand the Michigan House passed House Bill 4765, a poll tax on Michigan voters. This bill is a solution to a non-existent problem. There were 16 examples of non-citizens attempting to vote in 2025, or 0.00028% of Michigan's total voting population. Children suffering from lack of food make up 13% of Michigan children. 6-11% of senior citizens don't have enough to eat in Michigan. And 5% of Michiganders have no health insurance. Respectfully, please stop trying to punish women and poor people with poll taxes in the forms of new identification costs. This is the White House's culture war and will not serve you. Focus on $4 a gallon gas prices. On rising grocery prices. Focus on the he food insecurities of our youngest and oldest. And our lack of access to health care. Do your jobs and work for us. We will fire you if you can't .
