Please speak out about the unlawful firings of Dr Perlmutter, the US Register of Copyrights, and Dr Carla Hayden, the Librarian of Congress. It is interesting, but not surprising, that these are both women who believe in education and knowledge. This continues a pattern of targeting library and information leaders in nonpartisan positions and an effort to weaken institutional knowledge and professionalism. Promoting censorship by attacking those involved in education, libraries, knowledge, and books is fascism.
