As a constituent, I urge you to take action to stop Donald Trump and Education Secretary Linda McMahon from dismantling the Department of Education. Already, nearly half the department’s skilled staff has been laid off or forced out. Now, Trump and McMahon are preparing to shift functions to other federal agencies—an unprecedented and illegal move that would send class sizes soaring, gut job-training opportunities, and make post-secondary education even less attainable.
