Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted child sex trafficker, perjurer, and plagiarist, has been offered limited immunity for cooperating with investigators regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files and client lists. This reeks of a cover up. Given her convictions for heinous crimes and documented lies under oath, any testimony from her lacks credibility and will be an attempt to obtain a reduced sentence or pardon, subverting justice for victims. She will lie for immunity. She will lie for a pardon. Congress must exercise stringent oversight to prevent improper interference in the Epstein matter and ensure the investigation pursues full transparency and accountability without contingencies enabling Maxwell to evade consequences.
