No DHS Funding Without Major Reform. Remove DHS, CBP, ICE Leadership.

To: Sen. Moran, Sen. Marshall, Rep. Mann

From: A constituent in Hutchinson, KS

February 15

I demand the immediate removal or impeachment of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, and CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott. More than 4,400 federal court rulings since October have found ICE detained people illegally. Two U.S. citizens have been shot dead by federal agents in Minneapolis. Chief Judge Patrick Schiltz documented 96 court order violations by ICE in January alone. He warned that ICE violated more court orders in one month than some agencies have in their entire existence. Secretary Noem held up $17 billion in disaster aid and benefited from a $220 million self-dealing contract scandal. She told Congress that habeas corpus means “a constitutional right that the president has to be able to remove people from this country.” Acting Director Lyons signed a secret memo authorizing warrantless home entries. Commissioner Scott was tied to the cover-up of a Border Patrol beating death and belonged to a racist Facebook group. Even Republican Senators Tillis and Murkowski want Noem gone. These officials do not serve the Constitution. They serve one man. Support the impeachment of Secretary Noem. Demand the removal of Todd Lyons and Rodney Scott. Withhold all DHS funding until binding reforms are enacted. Require judicial warrants for home entries. Ban masks during enforcement. Mandate visible identification. Codify use-of-force standards. The American people will not quietly allow our tax dollars to fund agencies that ignore court orders, kill unarmed citizens, and operate like a secret police force. I expect you to act.
