Oppose Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries for Democratic leadership. The party needs a genuine change in direction, and recycling the same leadership figures sends exactly the wrong message to voters who are demanding something different. Schumer and Jeffries have had their opportunity to lead, and the electoral results speak for themselves. Fresh leadership is not just symbolic. It signals that the party is serious about rebuilding trust and fighting with a new energy and strategy. I am watching this closely, and so are many others in my community. Support new voices for Democratic leadership.
