As a resident of Washington, I am deeply concerned about the potential impact of these rollbacks on our community. Rural areas often lack the resources to address environmental contamination effectively, making federal protections even more crucial. I urge you to take immediate action to: 1 Oppose the rollback of PFAS regulations and support efforts to strengthen protections against these toxic chemicals. 2 Advocate for the restoration of state-level bans on PFAS to ensure that communities can continue to safeguard public health. 3 Support funding for local water treatment facilities to help them meet existing PFAS standards and protect our drinking water.
