Condemn Israeli strikes crippling Gaza's healthcare infrastructure

To: Sen. Moran, Rep. Davids, Sen. Marshall

April 14

According to the CNN article from April 13, 2025, an Israeli air strike early on Sunday incapacitated the last fully functioning hospital in Gaza City, the Al-Ahli Baptist hospital. The strike caused extensive damage to the emergency room, reception area, and adjoining church, forcing a rushed evacuation where one child died from head injuries during the chaos. The article states the hospital was struck around 551 days after the American-Israeli hostage Edan Alexander was captured, referencing a newly released proof-of-life video from Hamas. With few operational hospitals remaining across Gaza after years of conflict, the attack on this critical medical facility has further crippled healthcare access for hundreds of thousands of civilians displaced by escalating Israeli ground operations. I want to hear you condemning what is happening in Gaza. We have to stop arming Israel.
